Those Apatow kids get all glossy in Vanity Fair
Annie Leibovitz took photos of the Judd Apatow crew for a pretty funny photo portfolio. Seth Rogen and co. recreated scenes from classic movies and spoofed Leibovitz's iconic March 2006 Vanity Fair cover with Tom Ford (he's a director now?!), Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johansson. Admittedly I have a bit of a love - dislike relationship with the Apatow gang*, but these photos put a smile on my face:
Russell Brand channelling Charlie Chaplin
Bill Hader, Anna Farris, Jason Bateman, and Leslie Mann recreat the Honeymooners, though I think Bateman is doing his best to bring out his inner Gene Kelly.
Amy Poehler does her Bonnie Parker thing, with Will Arnett as Han Solo
My favorite: Jason Segel as Buster Keaton
The rest of these glossy images and a making of video are at the Vanity Fair site, and you can get your hands on the photos in the April 2009 edition of Vanity Fair.
*With the exception of Paul Rudd. He's too delicious to ever dislike.
