New Women in Trouble trailer

The trailer for Women in Trouble (via The Movie Blog) looks like the film has just as much tragedy as it does comedy. Which I didn't expect. I think it's worth it just for Josh Brolin's hilarious accent:

A serpentine day in the life of ten seemingly disparate women: a porn star, a flight attendant, a psychiatrist, a masseuse, a bartender, a pair of call girls, etc. All of them with one crucial thing in common. Trouble.

New posters from Women in Trouble

Carla Gugino plays adult entertainer, Elektra Luxx in Women in Trouble: "A serpentine day in the life of ten seemingly disparate women: a porn star, a flight attendant, a psychiatrist, a masseuse, a bartender, a pair of call girls, etc. All of them with one crucial thing in common. Trouble." Written and directed by Gugino's boyfriend, Sebastian Gutierrez (Snakes on a Plane), the film is the first in a trilogy that will include Elektra Luxx and Women in Ecstasy.

Women in Trouble has a pretty impressive cast (Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Simon Baker), but, it's the women who get the best roles in the film (Marley Shelton, Adrianne Palicki, Cameron Richardson, Connie Britton, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, and Emmanuelle Chriqui):

"Women in Trouble is a fun addition to the current trend of revisiting and reworking exploitation-film themes in a lighthearted way...There's a certain pleasure in seeing a movie where the men are relegated to the Supportive Spouse and Lust Interest roles, after I've seen so many films where those are the only roles for women." Joseph Gordon-Levitt on the Inception set

More on set photos via ONTD!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt discusses working on Inception, and has some pretty cool things to say about Leonardo DiCaprio:

It’s so great. I am just really honored and grateful to be working for Mr. Nolan. He has such integrity and what’s really cool about Inception is that he’s getting to make this enormous movie that’s just his own brainchild, just his own idea that he wrote out of his head. I’ve looked up to Leonardo DiCaprio ever since I was very little. He was an actor at a young age, always doing it with such integrity and sincerity. So much of what happens in Hollywood is for all the wrong reasons. That guy does it because he loves it and believes in the art and the craft of it, which shows in his work and his choices. It’s something I have always aspired to and to get to work with him and be in scenes with him is really special. [The Press Association via Nolan Fans]

Inception is currently shooting in Los Angeles after shoots in Japan, England, France, and Morocco. According to Nolan Fans the crew will be filming in LA on Thursday, September 3rd, Friday, September 4th, and Wednesday through Friday, September 9th through the 11th. Address: 1745 E 7th St, Los Angeles. There might also be filming around N. Spring St from College St- Baker St.

New details on Chris Nolan's Inception emerge

Cast members Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, and Ellen Page have been shooting in Paris all week and now some character names and occupations have been revealed thanks to a very crafty someone getting their hands on a call sheet (thanks to /Film via Nolan Fans).

Ellen Page plays Ariadne a grad student and Leonardo DiCaprio's sidekick, Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Arthur, DiCaprio's associate, Tom Hardy plays Eames, a member of DiCaprio's team, Marion Cotillard plays DiCaprio's wife, Dileep Rao plays Yusef, Ken Watanabe plays the villain, Saito who is blackmailing DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy plays Fischer, but no other details have emerged about his character, Tom Berenger plays Browning. DiCaprio's name isn't on the list, but people think his character's name is Cobb (a very smart someone over at /Film mentioned that Cobb is the name of the antagonist in Nolan's first film, Following). Michael Caine is also part of the cast, but no word yet on his character.

As many of you already know, the very first teaser trailer for Inception is set to premiere tomorrow attached to prints of Inglourious Basterds. Annoyingly, it probably won't appear online until next week. So, to keep us from going insane with anticipation Screen Rant (via a user from IMDb named wiimovies) points us to a description of the trailer and a plot synopsis. To warn you, there's a slight SPOILER:

Now, I wont give much away because it was a pretty good teaser trailer. It got you wanting more. Their is actual footage of the movie, with Leo and others. Their is One fight scene in what looks to be in a hotel hallway, but not just any fight scene. They were fighting all over the hallway, on side walls, ceilings everywhere. I thought Matrix (Don't panic it's not the matrix but thats what I came up with) Its gonna be a trippy movie. The end music kind of reminded me of Terminator, not the theme music but u will know what I'm talking about. Its only like a minute long and you will want to watch again to see what you just saw. All in all, it was really good.

It starts with the Warner Bros Logo in grey. Then you see Chris Nolan name. This dradle like thing is spinning around. Then Director- The Dark Knight words. You see leo's face. over shot of a city, shaking camera shot. Words come on screen YOUR MIND. Shot of Leo. More words IS THE SCENE OF THE CRIME. Then you see a glass of water, with the water in the glass startes to tilt. people fighting in hallway. The word INCEPTION comes up. then SUMMER 2010.

Yes, Gordon-Levitt is one of the guys that's fighting in the Hallway, on the ceiling and walls. You see a quick shot of his face.

ellen page is not in the teaser, Thier is a shot of a guy being dragged away, it could be him, not familiar with who he is, sorry. Marion was not in the teaser

I believe it. It sounds too good for someone to have made up on the spot just to fool us. Screen Rant also points out that /Film reader Ben M shared some more plot information from Rotten Tomatoes:
“Inception is about entering peoples’ minds/dreams. A technology to do so has been developed and is done through an injection. DiCaprio and his team work to enter the minds of other characters in order to retrieve/plant information.”
It could be totally off base, but it sounds very interesting. The more I read about this movie, the more excited I get.

New GI Joe Trailer

Got this from CHUD.com. The folks over there are a little more excited about this trailer than I am (read: they're excited, and I'm not). Director Stephen Sommers has only made me excited about The Mummy back in 1999 and its sequels have been damn horrible anyway. Check out the trailer below:

'(500) Days of Summer' poster

Sigh. I wish that other Zooey movie was getting the (500) Days treatment.
