Carey Mulligan might win an Oscar for Bright Star?

Someone needs to tell the folks who designed Variety's screening schedule that Carey Mulligan isn't the lead actress in Jane Campion's Bright Star. Whoops:




It might be easy to confuse British actress Carey Mulligan and Australian actress, Abbie Cornish - as EW points out they're both attractive twenty-somethings who might be Oscar nominated for Best Actress come January. And both their films are from female directors. But maybe we should get their names under the right films - Carey Mulligan is the lead in Lone Scherfig's An Education while Abbie Cornish is the lead in Campion's Bright Star. Let's hope they don't make these kinds of mistakes when they announce the winners during awards season.
